For the introduction of Ritter Sport in the Swedish market, Truman developed a new category: 'nature-friendly chocolate'. Ritter Sport was positioned as a challenger brand with a strong lighthouse mission. The chocolate brand combines joy and goodness so that you can enjoy your chocolate even more. The entire factory is already climate neutral, they have their own cocoa plantation, and there are further serious goals to become more nature-friendly step by step. The campaign "Be a better friend to nature by enjoying Ritter Sport" is aimed at generation Z and Millennials.
There is a friend in great danger.
Someone who’s always there for us.
Taking care of our every need.
The air we breathe.
The water we drink.
The food we eat.
This friend is nature.
And we hurt her, tremendously
By polluting her waters.
By exhausting her soil.
And by filling her skies with ugly gasses.
It’s a wrong relationship.
And it needs change.
We need to be a better friend.
For our common future.
And the generations to come.
As a family business we feel this too.
We want change.
Do the right thing for people, nature, and chocolate.
That’s why we started our own cocoa farm.
So, we could grow cocoa in harmony with nature.
And our chocolate creation?
We took it to zero.
We made it climate neutral.
It’s the only right thing to do.
That’s why we made it our main mission:
becoming the most nature-friendly chocolate.
So, everyone can enjoy our chocolate
with the great feeling of doing the right thing.
To get there, we made our –nature-friendly– bucket list:
Know the origin of every single bean we use.
Wrap all our chocolate in the most sustainable way.
Become completely climate neutral.
Use only nature friendly ingredients
And, of course putting our love for nature in every piece of chocolate we create.
Because: nature-friendly chocolate just tastes better.
